Faculty Learning Community, "Teaching with Technology." Award received 2009. Value: $500. Purpose: to explore technology tools (commercial, web, etc.) and their potential applications in the classroom; to discuss effective pedagogy related to teaching with technology and distance learning.
New Faculty Grant. Grant received 2006. Value: $1,800 plus release time. Purpose: To complete research for the writing of a monograph to launch a larger project related to the conditions of academic women on university campuses in the United States.
Faculty Support Grant. Grant received 2007. Value: $8,580. Co-Principal Investigator with Kyzyl Fenno-Smith. Purpose: To purchase software and related equipment to research, experiment, and create various modules for the re-design of the LIBY 1210 information literacy course and other information literacy modules and to hire student staff assistance for the technical aspects of creating these modules.
